In this two videos the main idea is to show us how society stereotype the genders.



In this first video we can see how society think about girls. how girls feels when people say "Like a girl" it shows us how society thinks that men and women aren't equal.



In this second video they show us how Disney stereotype men's. That Disney only focuses in princess as a main character. And how they characterize that the prince is always white, strong and tall.

I think social media is good because we can communicate with our friends and family in other countries. and also see what's going on around  the world and express people self.

Different evidences that social media is good is for example Facebook. In Facebook you can express yourself and also communicate with people. Another social media that you can communicate with your friends or family is Whatsapp. In Whatsapp you can text with people and also whatsapp is more private


Conclusion: In conclusion social media is good, because in social media  we can communicate with our friends and family in other countries also we can see what's going on around  the world. An people can express themselves.

Selfies

1. What are your overall feelings about selfies? 

My overall feelings about selfies is that they are good in many ways. We can capture the moment and share it to our friends through selfies.

1. Why do you think you/or other people take selfies? What is the goal?

I take selfies because i like it. I love take selfies because i can capture the moment and share it in social media so my friends and family can see it.

1. Do you think your generation struggles with constantly needing attention or approval from others? Why or why not?

I think one of my generation struggles with constantly need attention or approval from others is because parents now in days doesn't dedicate the time they have to dedicate to their children. They are only focus on their job or making money that sometimes they forget to spend with their children.

1. What did you learn about selfies today?

I learned that some people get addicted to selfies and this is not right and that some people are like they just dont care about selfies.

1. What advice would you give someone who takes perpetual selfies?

One advise i can give to those people who takes perpetual selfies is that Get a life! just kidding keep taking selfies is your life or try to spend more time with your friends and do some activities that you dont have to use your phone so you dont be so busy taking selfie

1. Do you think portraits (self photos before 2000) or selfies are better? Why?

I think they are better now. Now in days there are more technologies to make our photos better.

Social media use

I use social media for my personal usage. My social medias is all about me and sometimes others things. I express myself through photos of me and others things that i think are appropriate to post on social medias. The networks i most use are: Whatsapp, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, kik and FaceTime. I use all of these networks because i can communicate with my friends and see what my friends and artists that i like post everyday. Social media make me feel good but at the same time secure and insecure. We have the option to put or profiles privates but the aren't really private at all.

Internet and technology

The internet have changed in different ways through years. For example the internet was very slow and there wasn't wifi internet, But now the internet is very fast as it was before and now we have wifi connection. Good things has come about the internet. Now we can communicate very fast through messages apps or text messages. Also we can see the person we are talking with. I think in the next 20 years the internet are going to improve in a significant way.

What am I? A digital native, or digital immigrant?

I consider myself as an digital native. I consider myself as a digital native because for me it is very easy to adapt into a new technology. Being a digital native is most like that even when i don't know a social platform its is very easy to learn how to use it. I think i can be both digital or immigrant native, but i consider myself more digital native than digital immigrant.
